Seven-year CFO veteran previously worked with affiliate foundations
Ashley Silva, a seven-year veteran of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, is now its vice president of development and philanthropic services. Silva joined the CFO in 2017 to help manage its network of regional affiliate foundations, which promotes philanthropy in more than 50 communities in collaboration with the development team. She first served as director of regional engagement and more recently as assistant vice president of affiliates. Prior to joining the CFO, Silva spent 10 years in Dallas working in community foundation donor relations, corporate philanthropy and nonprofit fundraising.
Ashley Silva is now the CFO’s vice president of development.
“After working alongside Ashley for the last seven years, I’ve witnessed her passion for place-based philanthropy,” said Winter Kinne, president and CEO of the CFO. “Her expertise in building relationships with donors, discussing planned giving and managing a team makes her a natural fit for leadership.”
A native of Springfield, Silva holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and broadcasting from Oklahoma State University and is currently earning a master’s in nonprofit and civic leadership from Drury University.
