Arts & Culture Grant Program

$10,000 |Due by: April 9, 2026

This grant program will provide programming support to organizations working primarily in the arts, including funding for events, performances, classes, readings, outreach activities, exhibitions, public art, collaborative partnership projects, and other programmatic strategies. Please note: current recipients of the Operating Support multi-year grant are not eligible to apply. 

The total amount available in this grant round is $120,000.00. Agencies may apply for up to $10,000 in funding. While $30,000 is designated for Springfield agencies, the remaining $90,000 is available to agencies within the SRAC's 27-county service area, including: Barry, Barton, Bates, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Henry, Hickory, Howell, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Ozark, Polk, Pulaski, St. Clair, Stone, Taney, Texas, Vernon, Webster, and Wright counties.  

Eligibility Requirements:

• The applicant must be a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, government entity, school district, or tax-exempt faith-based organization with a primary mission in the arts. Fiscally sponsored organizations are not eligible.
• Agency must be a current member of the Springfield Regional Arts Council. Not sure of your membership status? Contact the SRAC at (417) 862-2787.
• Organizations not primarily working in the arts are not eligible for this grant program.
• Current recipients of the Operating Support multi-year grant are not eligible to apply.
• Matching funds are not required for this grant application, but they are encouraged.
• Requests cannot represent more than 50% of the organization's annual budget.

Carthage Affiliate Grantmaking Program

The Carthage Community Foundation works to improve the quality of life for individuals in the Carthage area through thoughtful grantmaking and community leadership. Any 501(c)3 public charities or other IRS approved entities (government entities, school districts and churches) serving the Carthage area may make an application to Carthage Community Foundation for its Spring 2026 Community Grant Round. Total amount one applicant can request is $10,000.00.

Guidelines:

• CCF has an interest in supporting organizations and projects which enhance the lives of Carthage residents and provide innovative solutions for existing and emerging community needs.
• Applicant needs to select one area of funding and can only apply once. The areas of funding include: 1 - Health & Human Services, 2 - Education & Youth Services, 3 - Arts, Culture, History & Community Beautification, 4 - Food & Nutrition.
• CCF prefers to provide grants for one-time special projects & capital/equipment purchases, however, the board will also consider general operating expenses if a strong case is made for special circumstances.
• Organizations must provide a clear and itemized project budget along with the application.
• Grants received must be spent within one year of receipt. Recipients will be expected to participate in publicity for the grant, as well as provide a detailed follow-up report after one year.

Carthage Affiliate Program/Vivian Leon Fund for the Musical Arts

Up to $4,000 |Due by: April 9, 2026

Area 501(c)3 public charities or other IRS approved entities serving the Carthage area, may make application to Carthage Community Foundation for its Spring 2026 Vivian Leon Fund for the Musical Arts Community Grant Round. All applications must be completed and submitted online.

Mrs. Leon's preference is to fund organizations that present piano performance and education in Jasper & Newton counties although she has also funded support for piano students via "scholarship assistance" grants, as well as support for other types of performing arts. Applicants may apply within any of these parameters.

The suggested range for grant proposals is $1,000 - $4,000.

• Applicants may apply for up to $4,000.00 in funding for this grant cycle.
• Grants received must be spent within one year of receipt. Recipients will be expected to participate in publicity for the grant, as well as provide a detailed follow-up report after one year.

Missouri Beef Days Grantmaking Program

Missouri Beef Days exists to appreciate those in the beef and agriculture industries and their contributions to the economy; educate all on the importance of beef to Missouri - economically, nutritionally, and environmentally; celebrate Missouri's top industry and all those involved. Established in 2022, Missouri Beef Days has provided beef to local schools, raised over $100,000 in scholarship funding, and made community improvements in Polk County. 

Missouri Beef Days seeks to support projects related to increasing access to agricultural education for students and will award three grants this cycle. Grant proposals are accepted according to an announced timetable, and grant recommendations are made as funds are available. 501(c)3 public charities or other IRS approved entities (government entities, school districts and churches) are eligible to apply.

The DACO Community Foundation works to improve the quality of life for individuals in Dade County through thoughtful grantmaking and community leadership. The flexibility this requires is made possible by charitable donors who established unrestricted or field-of-interest funds and place the decision-making in the hands of the community leaders serving on our Board of Directors as well as dollars raised by the DACO Community Foundation. This grant round is also supported with a contribution from the Ozarks Board of Realtors.

The Lennie Cloud Fund for the Hearing Impaired Grant Program supports a nonprofit agency located in the CFO service area which provides programming to assist individuals in the Ozarks who are hearing impaired. The Hearld Ambler Fund for Senior Centers serves senior centers in the SeniorAge Area Agency on Aging service area, which includes the following counties in Missouri: Barry, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Howell, Lawrence, Oregon, Ozark, Polk, Shannon, Stone, Taney, Texas, Webster, and Wright. Recipients must return a grant follow-up report within six months, and at that point, any unused funds must be returned. The Hearld Ambler Fund for Senior Centers does not reimburse for items already purchased.

This fund will grant up to $13,200 in the summer of 2026.
