Musgrave Multi-Year Impact Grants: Resilient Families RFP

$300,000.00 |Due by: February 17, 2026

The Musgrave Foundation seeks to fund programs that deliver high-impact services to families in the Springfield, Missouri MSA, with a focus on education, support and prevention. These programs should build family resiliency, empower and educate parents, and improve developmental, educational and social outcomes for children.
Total budget: $300,000 will be dedicated to this effort in 2026; up to $800,000 over a three-year effort may be used.

Eligible organizations:

• Lead applicant agencies must be nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations, government entities, school districts or tax-exempt faith-based organizations.
• Primary applicant organizations must provide supportive services in the Springfield, Missouri MSA (Greene, Christian, Dallas, Polk and Webster counties).
• Eligible proposals must primarily focus on Greene County but can include work occurring in the Springfield, Missouri MSA.
• Proposed annual requests cannot represent more than 25% of the organization’s annual budget.
• Eligible agencies must not be current recipients of another Musgrave Multi-Year grant program (Opportunities to Thrive or Keys to Housing).

The mission of Hometown Partners Giving Circle is to support efforts that foster a sense of community within and among the towns of Aurora, Marionville, and Verona, building one stronger, more extensive community in the process. Grant decisions for this program are made by members of the Hometown Partners, which falls under the Aurora Area Community Foundation.

Joplin Philanthropic Society Grantmaking Program

$50,000 |Due by: March 4, 2026

The Joplin Regional Community Foundation Philanthropic Society (The Phil) is excited to award grants to address priority human needs in Joplin, Webb City, and Carl Junction. The goal is to provide the seed funding to organizations that can build out current programs or create new services that improve the status of categories listed below. The committee will put weight in the final decision toward organizations that 1) can share a vision and long-term plan on how they will address the identified problems and 2) organizations that demonstrate collaboration with other community agencies willing to partner in the effort to improve community wellbeing.     
 
A total of $200,000 is available in this grant round. Up to $50,000 is available for the four categories of Barriers to Work & Prosperity, Child Welfare/Education, Community Health/Safety, Housing Affordability & Homelessness. 501(c)(3) organizations or other IRS approved entities (government entities, school districts, and churches) serving the Joplin area are eligible to apply.

Coover/Rural Schools Partnership Celebrate Rural Schools Grant Program

The Louis L. and Julia Dorothy Coover Foundation, a partnership between Community Foundation of the Ozarks and The Commerce Trust Company is proud to offer the Celebrate Rural Schools grant program, which will support projects that celebrate, strengthen, and elevate the unique identity of rural schools and the communities they serve. This grant supports projects that celebrate the unique culture, achievements, and identity of rural schools and their communities. It encourages districts to amplify local voices, showcase student success, and strengthen community connections.
