Providing Help & Hope

Specialty grants offer assistance to families with children receiving cancer treatment.

The CFO holds two funds established by generous donors whose lives were touched by pediatric cancer.

Each fund can provide up to $1,000 in assistance for nonmedical expenses to families with children in cancer treatment. Additional information and links to the applications for both are below. Contact Ellen Neville-Verdugo for more information.

The Ellis Fund

The Ellis Fund is designed to assist families in need with a child (18 or younger) diagnosed with cancer with expenses beyond their ability to pay. Families residing in Greene, Barry, Christian, Stone and Taney counties are eligible to apply for assistance. Families who have outstanding medical bills for a child in remission, yet there are still follow-up medical appointments, also will be considered for support.
