As Director of Community Impact, Tenessya oversees a number of grantmaking programs that support nonprofit partners across the region, including Emergency/Emergent/Special Projects and the L-A-D Foundation, the Musgrave Foundation, Everyone Outdoors, the Schweitzer Quality of Life and the Coover Foundation grant programs. She also leads the Arts & Culture program and will oversee the new Regionwide Literacy Focus Program launching in spring 2027.
A native of the Lake of the Ozarks, Tenessya earned her associate's degree in hospitality management from Ozarks Technical Community College. She brings more than a decade of experience in hospitality management, along with three years in wealth management with Edward Jones. She also holds the Certified Nonprofit Professional credential, a nationally recognized certification in nonprofit management.
Tenessya currently serves on the boards for the Kiwanis Club of Downtown Springfield and Borrow My Angel, two organizations that hold special meaning for her. Outside of her community involvement, she enjoys spending time with her son, family and friends, and loves traveling and being outdoors whenever she can.
