Abby is a Truman State University graduate, and a Fulbright Fellowship recipient which allowed her extended study in Cologne, Germany. She later worked for a national home decor magazine before spending 15 years as a small business owner in graphic design and marketing, helping clients build strong brands through visual storytelling. In 2022, she stepped into the nonprofit world as Affiliate Coordinator for the Perry County Community Foundation, where she loved the opportunity to work in her hometown and support a community that means so much to her. She is excited to bring that experience to a broader audience in her role as Affiliate Administrative Coordinator for the eastern area of the state.
Abby is married to Tommy, and they have three children — Grace, Samuel and Charlie. She enjoys reading, traveling and supporting her kids in sports and the arts. She’s active in her church, a member of P.E.O. International, serves on the St. Paul Lutheran School Foundation board, and is a longtime volunteer at the local elementary school.
