MRHA Libby

Libby Trammell, LCSW, is the Virtual Community and Digital Advocacy Manager at the Missouri Rural Health Association (MRHA), where she strengthens collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and collective action across Missouri’s rural health ecosystem. She builds on and sustains MRHA's online community and collaboration tool The Causeway that connects rural providers, advocates, and organizations, particularly those in isolated or under-resourced settings. Libby is a co-author of MRHA’s statewide 2026 Rural Health Needs Assessments and works to translate data into actionable strategies that inform advocacy, philanthropy, and systems-level change. She brings more than a decade of experience working directly with survivors of human trafficking and intimate partner violence, grounding her rural health work in trauma-informed, survivor-centered practice. Libby is passionate about leveraging digital infrastructure to reduce silos, elevate rural voices, and support long-term resilience in rural communities.
