Please join the Community Foundation of the Ozarks and Springfield Daily Citizen on Thursday, June 26, for a Community Conversation about New Nonprofit Realities: The Shifting Funding Landscape. Local nonprofit leaders and experts will discuss recent changes to government funding, impacts to nonprofits and the communities they serve, and the ways the public can respond.
The event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is requested by June 23. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Several Springfield-area nonprofit leaders will share how changes in federal funding and priorities are affecting the work of their organizations. A discussion will follow with panelists including:
- Bart Brown, President/CEO, Ozarks Food Harvest
- Lynne Meyerkord, Executive Director, AIDS Project of the Ozarks
- Dan Prater, senior manager (nonprofit, education and public sectors), Forvis Mazars
