Katy is a Louisiana native and earned a journalism degree from Evangel University. In addition to her experience working in nonprofits and hospitality, she owns and operates a creative business. She is an active community volunteer, including board service for the Association of Women in Communication. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, attending concerts and traveling.
