As a program coordinator for the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, Kirsten is responsible for overseeing field-of-interest and benevolence funds, managing the Youth Empowerment Program, and coordinating the Inclusive Excellence initiative as part of the CFO’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion trainings.

Kirsten is a proud Springfield native and has worked in the nonprofit sector for the last decade. She started her academic career at Ozarks Technical Community College before moving on to graduate from Drury University with a bachelor’s degree in music therapy and a master’s degree in business administration. She participated in Class 39 of Leadership Springfield and also has completed the 9-month GO Lead: Nuts and Bolts of Nonprofit Management program at Missouri State University.

In her free time, Kirsten enjoys hiking, fishing, kayaking and gardening. She also enjoys playing the piano and guitar, cooking and traveling.
