The hills and hollows of the Ozarks are home to caring people who, whether by history or heart, have made the region their own. Their work to improve the quality of life in their hometowns shines though “Leading Locally,” a series of stories recognizing the Community Foundation of the Ozarks’ 50-plus regional affiliate foundations. It’s part of a year-long celebration of place-based philanthropy across central and southern Missouri in conjunction with the CFO's 50th anniversary in 2023.
