Wallis Companies will provide applications and criteria to employees, dealers and vendors; return to same

 

Residency Requirements

Applicant must be an employee or dependent of Wallis Companies; or dependent of Wallis Companies wholesale customer; or dependent of eligible vendor

 

School Requirements

Any accredited college or university

 

Eligibility Requirements

1. Must be a high school senior
2. Essay required
3. Provide GPA
4. Participation in extra-curricular activities
5. Reference letters
6. Length of service

 

Other Requirements

*Amount:                                                                    One $5,000 scholarship, renewable
One $2,500 scholarship, renewable
Two $1,000 scholarships, non-renewable

At Wallis Companies’ discretion, additional scholarships may be added from time to time.

Renewals:Maintain a 2.8 GPA and full-time enrollment of 12 credit hours       

 

 

 

            

1. Maintain a cumulative 2.8 GPA
2. Employee/Dealer must be actively employed or doing business with Wallis Companies at the time grades are submitted; unless scholarship recipient was an employee who is now attending college on a full-time basis
3. If the recipient’s parent is no longer an employee/dealer when grades are submitted, the decision to renew will be determined on case by case basis by the selection committee
4. If recipient does not intend to renew consecutively during a four-year period, special permission must be requested from the selection committee prior to  beginning of the academic year
5. Scholarship recipients must complete their college education within seven (7) years of their high school graduation date, or the scholarship will be void.
