Residency Requirements

Graduating seniors from public high schools in Barton County: Liberal, Golden City, & Lamar; Jasper County: Carl Junction, Carthage, Jasper, Joplin, Sarcoxie & Webb City; McDonald County: Anderson; Newton County: Diamond, East Newton, Neosho & Seneca, MO

 

School Requirements

Must attend an institution offering engineering disciplines comparable to the University of Missouri

 

Eligibility Requirements

1. Must plan to work toward a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemistry, Applied Micro-Biology or other product creating scientific disciplines as approved
2. High school transcript and test scores should indicate ability to successfully complete a rigorous course of study
3. Must enroll as a full-time student
4. Preference to applicants who demonstrate financial need; must provide FAFSA Expected Family Contribution (EFC) form
5. Shall not receive or expect to receive a full-ride scholarship
Recipient shall not receive more than one additional scholarship, unless approved by the scholarship administrating committee

 

Other Requirements

*Renewable for three additional years

Renewals: Maintain cumulative 2.8 GPA and full-time enrollment of 12 credit hours
