The Essential Questions series is just one of the professional development opportunities we are pleased to offer to the nonprofit community that we are fortunate enough to partner with. We are now in the process of developing the next series of presentations, and it is essential that we receive input from our partners about topics they feel would be helpful to them for future presentations.

The Springfield Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) celebrated the success of the 2007-2008 year and the selection of representatives for the 2008-2009 year with a pizza party on May 13th. These new student representatives will serve a one-year term that begins in August.

The Lighthouse, a project of the Musgrave Foundation, is pleased to invite the community to celebrate the success of the program on May 13 at 10:00am. Mayor Tom Carlson will be on hand to open the doors to the child & family development program. Tours of the facility will be available until noon. The Lighthouse is located at 2548 N. Fremont, inside the Faith Tabernacle Church. The Lighthouse Child & Family Development Center is a major component of CFO’s Grantmaker’s Challenge for Children initiative. Read more… »
