2010-11 Endowment Building Grants
East Newton R-6 Charitable Foundation: $1,250 to send information specific to estate planning to alumni members.
Good Samaritan Boys Ranch: $1,250 to support a postcard campaign, which will be combined with invitations to breakfast and lunch events on planned giving.
Springfield Ballet: $1,250 grant to support the creation of the Legacy Scholarship Endowment Fund to fund scholarships for students unable to otherwise afford participation in ballet.
Sigma House: $1,250 to support video production for its website, and a booklet for distribution to potential donors to assist in their endowment-building goals.
Willow Springs School Foundation: $1,250 grant to fund brochures and handouts to create awareness among community members and alumni about the new foundation.
Urban Neighborhoods Alliance: $1,250 grant to support materials for their Campaign for the Community project as well as Project CORE.
Kimberling Area Library Association: $1,250 to support the “Buy a Brick” endowment- building campaign.
2009-10 Endowment Building Grants
Alton R-4 Public School Foundation: $1,626 -Mailing to 300 alumni planned giving information, as well as making personal contacts.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Ozarks: $1,500 – Designing a pamphlet to be mailed and add donor recognition to display and showcase the founding and ongoing donors of the program.
Boys & Girls of Springfield: $1,000 – Promoting and recognizing individuals who are helping to grow the endowment through planned giving. Also will send out two mailings and host the Heritage Club luncheon.
Carthage Council on the Arts: $1,424 – Planning a dinner theatre night for members and guests to promote the endowment and legacy programs.
Developmental Center of the Ozarks: $1,245 - Purchase educational supplies and training to develop skills in asking for legacy members through special programs and one on one meetings.
Eldon Area Community Theatre: $1,320 – Holding a gala & dinner event for potential planned giving patrons in order to provide them with information.
NAMI of Southwest Missouri: $1,500 - Designing, printing and mailing a direct mail brochure to all members of NAMI and design web pages.
OTC Foundation: $1,500 – Creating a planned giving brochure for awareness of giving to OTC in an effort to double the number of planned gifts over the next year.
Our House Foundation: $1,500 - Helping to underwrite six bi-monthly “bootcamp” sessions to introduce potential donors to Our House. Also produce brochures and fund an annual MASH BASH banquet.
Trails Regional Library: $1,500 - Creating brochures that will provide information to area residents about opportunities for giving to the library and contacting estate planners.
