New Funds Friday: Dec. 1-7

Every Friday, we share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. You can read more about types of funds available at CFO here. Peggy Poague Bollin United Methodist Church Endowment Fund – This fund will distribute to the United Methodist Church of Clinton annually and be added to the Haysler Allen Poague Scholarship Fund and added to the amount available for annual scholarships. This is a component fund of Truman Lake Community Foundation.

Boys & Girls Club of the Ozarks Heritage Club Fund – This fund will assist the Club with long term needs. This is a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Taney County.

Friends of the Birch Tree Public Library Fund – This fund will support the work of the Birch Tree Public Library.

Friends of the Pool, MT Fund – Jack Isenberger established this fund to support the rehabilitation of the Marshfield City Pool. This is a component of the Marshfield Area Community Foundation.

Hartville Dual Credit Fund – The Hartville R-II School District established this fund.

Homegrown Food Hub Fund – Ryan and Amanda Owen established this fund which will grant to qualifying entities to support the local food movement.

John and Culah Nixon Family Foundation – This fund, established by John and Culah Nixon, will assist with their family’s giving. It is a component fund of the Finley River Community Foundation.

Springfield Sister Cities Association Presidents Fund – This fund will hold long term monies for the Sister Cities organization.

Sarah White Memorial Scholarship Fund – Three Rivers Endowment Trust established this fund to hold scholarship monies.

Carla M. Calvin Endowment Fund for the Springfield Symphony – This a fund to support the Springfield Symphony.

Dade County Improvement Group Fund – This fund will support activities and projects aimed at improving communities within Dade County.This is a component fund of the DACO Community Foundation.

Elkland Christian Church Fund – This fund will support the activities of the Elkland Christian Church. This is a component fund of the Marshfield Area Community Foundation, and they are a new Agency Partner in the faith category.

Manning Revocable Trust Fund – F. Howard and Mary Manning established this fund to support their charitable giving in the Lake of the Ozarks area. This is a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Lake.

Be a Blessing Memorial Fund – Michelle Ducre established this fund as part of her estate/legacy gift. It will distribute to the Joplin Fund, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Carl Junction R-I School District and Rapha House Freedom Foundation supporting Joplin, Mo. This is a component fund of the Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri, Inc.

Hermann Area Community Development Fund – This fund will support community development enhancement projects with distributions to qualifying entities. The Community Foundation of the Herman Area established this fund.

Marshfield Senior Center Endowment Fund – This fund will hold long term monies for the Marshfield Senior Center. They are a new Agency Partner in the social services category and are a component fund of Marshfield Area Community Foundation.

Marshfield Senior Center Building Fund – The Marshfield Senior Center will use this fund to support their building.

J.B. Nations and Verna Mae Nations Memorial Fund – The Nations sisters established this family and community fund in memory of their parents, J.B. and Verna Mae. This is a component of the Cassville Community Foundation.

Ernest “Jim” Randolph and Louise Randolph Designated Fund – This fund is established by bequest from Louise Randolph.
