Jacks Fork Meets Hunger Challengse for Local Pantry
The Jacks Fork Community Foundation was among the 19 CFO affiliates that helped provide more than $1 million in food for hungry Missouri families as part of the Ozarks Hunger Challenge I as well as a successful participant in the second phase. Thanks to the work of the Jacks Fork Community Foundation, the Hunger Challenge I raised a total of $10,600 for FEED (Food Enough for Everyone Distribution), the Mountain View food pantry.
Then, in fall 2011, they completed the Hunger Challenge II, donating an additional $6,286 in matched funds to FEED.
