Foundation Helps Fund Community Gathering Place
American Legion Post 81 of Bourbon, Missouri, received a grant of $1,000 from the Bourbon Community Foundation in 2011. Adjutant Earl Bremer and Post Commander Ken Crowder accepted the check from Foundation President Mary Heywood and board members Becky Turner and Alice Bremer (below). The grant will be used to help complete Bourbon’s very first American Legion Hall.
